Salmothymus Obtusirostris
Certainly one of the most interesting species, whose classification has attracted the attention of scientists since the middle of the 19th century to the present day.
It is morphologically similar to grayling and trout. The body is covered with small scales.
Dense dark and red dots are grouped behind the operculum and they extend along the sides of the first half of the body all the way to the end of the dorsal fin. The upper lip is wide and fleshy, and almost completely covers the small teeth.
The teeth on the jaw bone are placed in two rows and are stronger than the teeth located on the jaw.
