Riparia Riparia

The sand martin (Riparia riparia) is a migratory passerine bird in the swallow family. 

Measurements: Length: 4.7–5.5 in (12–14 cm), Weight: 0.4–0.7 oz (11–20 g), Wingspan: 9.8–13.0 in (25–33 cm).

Endangered species in Croatia, nest numbers range around 5000 pairs per year.
