Pomatoschistus Canestrinii

The Adriatic Sea, particularly the Croatian coast, is home to a type of small marine fish known as Pomatoschistus canestrinii, also called the Canestrini's goby.

The Canestrini's goby is a carnivorous fish that loves shallow, rocky, and sandy substrates, frequently close to seagrass meadows. It eats tiny invertebrates including crabs and worms. It has a striking appearance with a brownish-grey body and a series of darker brown dots on its sides, and it normally grows to be 3–4 cm long.
